Rhododendron Week

Rhododendron Week 2026 will be celebrated from 3–9 April 2026 in Merak and Sakteng, Trashigang District, Eastern Bhutan. The week-long event highlights the region’s spectacular rhododendron blooms during spring and showcases the unique Brokpa highland culture. Activities include guided nature walks and treks through blooming forests, traditional music and dance performances, local cuisine, cultural demonstrations, and community-based eco-tourism experiences.
