Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Paro to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro, drive to Thimphu (1.5 hr) via Tamchog Lhakhang and enjoy an evening Thimphu city walk
Day 2: Thimphu Festival (September)
Witness sacred Cham mask dances and vibrant spiritual traditions at Thimphu Tshechu in Tashichho Dzong, where wearing traditional Gho or Kira is highly recommended.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass. Visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) and Punakha Dzong. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha-Wangdue –Phobjikha Valley
Continue drive to Phobjikha Valley via Wangdue, visiting Gangtey Monastery and enjoying a nature walk with optional farmhouse stay.
Day 5: Phobjikha Valley to Paro
Return to Paro. Visit National Museum and Rinpung Dzong. Explore Paro town market. Overnight at Paro.
Day 6: Hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monestary)
Early hike to Paro Taktsang for pilgrimage, followed by optional hot stone bath and evening market visit.
